A Place In The Sun's Lee Juggurnauth addresses claims he's 'gone missing' since show debut

A Place In The Sun’s Lee Juggurnauth has taken to Instagram to respond to concerned fans’ worries that he’s gone missing since his debut show. The property expert reassured fans that he’s returning to the show later in the year as he is currently soaking up the last of the summer sun in Bergerac, Dordogne, in France to film episodes for the programme.

In view of his 25,000 followers, Lee posted a snap of a post from Facebook.

Social media user Ben Andrews wrote: “What happened to Lee Juggurnauth? He did one episode and has been missing since.”

Replying to him, Suzanne Szalkal added that it wasn’t just the case for Lee, but also for Jonnie Irwin.

A third social media user added the post, writing: “On another post last week it said he’s currently filming for a new series.”

He added: “They’re making me do a piece to camera on a bridge, over a river… and I’m not the strongest swimmer,” he confessed light-heartedly.

“I can swim, I’m just not the strongest,” Lee clarified.

The APITS newcomer has had quite the summer filming in Greece, Spain and France for the hit property show.

Lee will soon celebrate his one year anniversary presenting on the favourite property show.

Speaking to Express.co.uk earlier this year, the star shared how he was rejected by the dream property show before being cast as a presenter in 2020.

Lee claimed he was turned down by the show’s bosses as they were formerly after a female presenter.

Addressing the moment he learnt that he had been successfully cast for the show last year, Lee admitted that it was a dream come true, as he had been turned down by the property show before.

A Place In The Sun continues weekdays at 3pm on Channel 4.
