A 15-year-old girl was killed and three other victims wounded in a shooting in Trenton on Saturday night, authorities said.
Shemiah Davis was identified by prosecutors Sunday as the fatal victim of the shooting on Bellevue Avenue near North 25 Housing at about 6:45 p.m.
A 17-year-old was also wounded by the gunfire, along with a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old. It wasn’t immediately clear what conditions the surviving victims were in.
Trenton Mayor W. Reed Gusciora and Acting Police Director Steve Wilson called the shooting “senseless.”
City officials are urging local residents to speak up if they know anything about the fatal shooting.
