All Creatures Great and Small boss speaks out on uncertain future of show ‘We’ll see’

The writer explained this version of the adaptation will play out at a slow pace in order which will give time for the plot to develop.

“There’s plenty more to come,” he said. “We’ll see what the stakeholders say,” he teased.

All Creatures Great and Small began as a series of books written by James Alfred Wight under the pen name of James Herriot, where he would detail his experience working at a veterinary clinic.

It was then first adapted into a film of the same name in 1975, then followed up by a sequel titled It shouldn’t Happen to a Vet in the following year.
