Josh continued: “Now, it’s worth noting that obviously last year, (it was) during the pandemic.

“(And) you and I discussed this how previously, in a previous life, linear television, more people have been watching linear TV over the pandemic because obviously, they’re stuck in their homes, so that kind of explains the all-time high of last year.”

However, Simon wasn’t convinced lockdown was the only reason last year’s viewing figures were so much higher.

“But let’s call this Josh,” Simon interjected. “There aren’t many famous faces in it this year.”
