Virgin Media, Sky and BT Broadband customer? You could be missing out on savings of £100

The research said on average broadband customer in the UK pays around £33.77 each month for their internet connection. However, introductory offers for fibre broadband on average cost £26.34 a month, which leaves plenty of wiggle room for potential savings.

Besides the money saved on broadband packages, other benefits of switching providers include being sent upgraded equipment as well as finding you could have access to higher download speeds.

Which? said in total broadband customers could save almost £300 a year if they also look into changing energy providers as well.

Lisa Barber, Which? Home Products and Services editor, said: “Consumers should not have to pay more than they need to for essential services such as broadband and energy, and with many households facing an energy bill hike due to the price cap change, now is the ideal time to consider switching these services.
