The PlayStation Store is currently offering Double Discounts for those who have a PS Plus subscription in September.
The Returning sales event was announced as returning earlier this week, and Sony has confirmed that the new deals will be going live today, September 15.
Like in the past, Sony is making it possible to buy leading PS4 games at much lowers prices than usual.
Many premium bundles are beefing up the list, meaning that you can buy Red Dead Redemption 2 Ultimate Edition for a lot less than a week ago.
Leading games include Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, GTA 5, Detroit: Become Human, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Marvel’s Avengers, Hitman 3 and Godfall.
A message from Sony adds: “The PlayStation Plus Double Discounts promotion comes to PlayStation Store this Wednesday, September 15. For a limited time, not only can you make savings on a variety of games – such as Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PS4 & PS5 – but if you’re a PlayStation Plus member, your percentage saving is doubled.
Sony has stated that the current PS Plus Double Discount deals will be available until September 29, 2021.
And like other months, there are plenty of other bonuses to enjoy with your PS Plus subscription in September.
Sony has provided more free games to download and play, with Overcooked: All You Can Eat!, Hitman 2 and Predator: Hunting Grounds making up the current lineup.
These will be available until early October and will remain available to anyone with a subscription who claims it within the given time.
WHAT IS PLAYSTATION PLUS?
PlayStation Plus is an extra subscription service offered by Sony on its lineup of consoles, both new and old.
It makes it possible to play online multiplayer in paid-for video games, but is not required for titles like Apex Legends, Call of Duty: Warzone and Fortnite.
PlayStation Plus also provides special discounts on the PlayStation Store and exclusive opportunities like select betas and select early demos.
The most popular benefit to the subscription is the free games, with a combo of PS4 and PS5 titles offered each month.
And for people who own a PS5, PS Plus also comes with the PlayStation Plus Collection, which is a free library of PS4 games you can download and play.
To access the library of games from your PlayStation 5 console, go to Games home and select PlayStation Plus > The PlayStation Plus Collection.
If you cancel your PlayStation Plus subscription you will continue to have access to all of your PlayStation Plus subscription benefits until your next scheduled payment date.
If your PlayStation Plus subscription expires and you renew it at a later date, you will regain access to content that you have previously obtained through PlayStation Plus.
