Sept 14 (Reuters) – British online homeware retailer Made.com (MADE.L) on Tuesday flagged a hit to its first-half gross margin from higher shipping costs and warned of a delay in deliveries.

The company, reporting for the first time since its London debut in June, said its reported pretax loss narrowed to 10.1 million pounds ($13.97 million) in the six months ended June 30 from a loss of 15.2 million pounds a year earlier.
