Kate Middleton brother James Middleton moves to £1.5m mansion after 'stressful experience'

James Middleton, the brother of the Duchess of Cambridge, married french finance expert Alizée Thevenet a few days ago. The couple now live in a farmhouse mansion in West Berkshire and have given fans a glimpse of the beautiful interior.

Their home is rather different to Pippa’s £17million mansion in Chelsea she shares with her multimillionaire husband James Matthews or the Duchess of Cambridge’s royal residence in Kensington Palace.

Pippa’s property reportedly has six bedrooms, a gym, a lift, a room for staff and even a cinema.

However, James and Alizée opted for a countryside home, very similar to the one where he grew up with his parents Carole and Michael Middleton and his two sisters.

James, Kate and Pippa grew up in their Oak Acre home, in Bucklebury, where Carole and Michael lived until 2012. After that, they decided to move to a £4.7million manor for more privacy.

The news comes months after the couple were seen house-hunting in London.

It was reported they wanted to move close to James’ sister, Pippa, in south-west London.

However, the pair finally opted for a more rural lifestyle where they can live comfortably with their six dogs.

The Duchess of Cambridge’s brother announced his engagement last October after he proposed to Alizée in the Lake District.
