Back in January 2020, the group announced they were going to breakup after 21 years together, and that they would head out on a farewell tour dubbed: Rascal Flatts Farewell: Life Is A Highway Tour 2020.

During the announcement on CBS This Morning, they also promised to release new music.

But then on May 19 the farewell tour was indefinitely postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

During their two-decade run they released 10 original studio albums and a Christmas-themed album between 2000 and 2017.

They would go on to score 31 top 10 hits on Billboard’s country airplay chart, including 14 No. 1 songs, resulting in more than 23 million albums sold.
