Wheel of Fortune’s Pat Sajak and Vanna White sign new deal to remain co-hosts through 2024

Wheel of Fortune host Pat Sajak and co-host Vanna White just inked a new deal to remain on the seven-time Emmy-winning, Hangman-inspired game show through 2024.

The 74-year-old presenter and the 64-year-old letter-turner have co-starred in the nighttime version of Wheel since it debuted way back in 1983.

As part of Pat’s contract renewal, he will also serve as consulting producer after executive producer Mike Richards exited amid past offensive comments – according to Variety.

Sajak’s daughter 26-year-old daughter Margaret recently became Wheel’s online media correspondent, and gave fans a tour of his dressing room (with large safe) last Thursday.

The three-time Daytime Emmy winner will no longer do the ‘final spin’ since he always felt it was inappropriate for the host to ‘have an impact on the outcome.’

‘That has always bothered me because it just didn’t feel right,’ Pat admitted in a statement.

‘With this change, only the contestants determine the outcome of the game and the host does not impose themselves in any way.’

And after a decade as the unseen voice of Wheel, Jim Thornton will now step in front of the camera from a special podium to make his announcements for season 39.

Contestants will be delighted to hear the ‘free play’ wedge on the wheel has been replaced by a $850 wedge, and those who solve the ‘triple toss up round’ will earn $10K.

The ‘bonus wheel’ has been raised to $39K minimum (in honor of season 39) and the Wheel of Fortune set and theme song will also be revamped.
