Travis Barker says he feels ‘invincible’ flying again with Kourtney Kardashian

He’s feeling this.

Travis Barker never thought he’d fly again after surviving a horrific plane crash in 2008, but now feels “invincible” with girlfriend Kourtney Kardashian by his side.

“I’m invincible when I’m with her,” Barker, 45, told Nylon Magazine. “It’s like I never dreamed, I never even considered flying again.”

Barker explained, “I didn’t even know I was going,” on his August flight to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with the 42-year-old “Keeping Up With the Kardashian” star, his first in 13 years.

“I made a deal with her that she had just said to me, ‘I would love to do so much traveling with you,’” he went on. “‘I want to go to Italy with you. I want to go to Cabo with you. I want to go to Paris with you. I want to go to Bora Bora with you.’

He continued, “And I said, ‘Well, when the day comes you want to fly, I’m telling you I’ll do it with you. I would do anything with you. And just give me 24 hours’ notice.’ And that’s what she did.”

Barker had previously alluded to the 24-hours-notice arrangement with Kardashian — without naming her — in a May interview with Men’s Health mag.

Barker called his relationship with Kourtney, “still something very new to me,” adding, “having something that gives me the strength and hope to be able to overcome things that were so traumatic in my life, it just says a ton.”

Barker’s 2008 flight from South Carolina ended in disaster when the plane caught fire, killing two pilots as well as Barker’s assistant and security guard. The drummer and his friend, Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein, survived with severe burns, but both men struggled in the wake of the accident, with Goldstein dying a year later from a drug overdose.

Traveling to Cabo with Kourtney, however, calmed many of the Blink-182 drummer’s lingering fears, and he called the two-hour plane ride “the easiest ever.” In addition to the Poosh founder’s support, Barker also relied on implementing certain breathing techniques to “go deeper” into his subconscious prior to boarding the plane.

The couple has since taken more flights together, traveling to Italy for a PDA-packed vacation before heading to Paris, where they posed in front of the Eiffel Tower.
