YouTuber Piper Rockelle is speaking up after singer Pink called out the teen’s parents for ‘exploiting’ her for fame.
‘How many kids like Piper Rockelle are being exploited by their parents? And at what point do the rest of us say… “this isn’t okay for a 13 yr old to be posing in a bikini whilst her MOTHER takes the photo?!?!”‘ the 42-year-old singer tweeted on Sunday.
However Piper, who recently celebrated her 14th birthday and has over eight million subscribers on YouTube, insists her mother doesn’t make her do anything, and is only encouraging her to follow her dreams.

‘The first thing I want everyone to know is that my mom doesn’t make me do anything. Quite the opposite, I’m a kid who had a dream and my mom is amazing enough to help me live it out,’ the YouTuber told TMZ.
‘I don’t think P!nk has ever seen one of my YouTube videos because if she did she’d see it’s just my friends and me having fun and acting like ourselves. The content we make is the kind of stuff anyone can watch.’
‘I know there are kids who are being taken advantage of and that’s a real problem, but I’m not one of them,’ she said.
Speaking with Today, Piper pointed out that Pink was also 14 when she joined the all-female group Basic Instinct.

‘Since Piper was a child, she has had a strong love of performing and she has always had a dream,’ Tiffany told Today.

She later re-uploaded the post the next day with two adorable throwbacks of herself and her father with the caption: ‘Til forever.’
