Man Utd 'meet Juventus asking price' as Cristiano Ronaldo moves closer to £24m transfer

Manchester United have met Juventus’ asking price for Cristiano Ronaldo, who is edging closer to a £24million (€28m) return to Old Trafford, according to reports. Various outlets are reporting that Man United have sent an official bid for the 36-year-old, leaving the transfer imminent.

According to Goal Italia, United have offered Juventus around £24m (€28m) to bring Ronaldo back to the club, and a deal is now close.

Fabrizio Romano has also reported that Juventus have received an official bid from the Red Devils and are ready to find an agreement to complete a deal.

He adds that United midfielder Paul Pogba has not been included in negotiations amid speculation stating otherwise.

Manchester City are now out of the picture to sign Ronaldo, who looks to be Old Trafford-bound.
