Emily VanCamp shocked her fans with a big announcement on Thursday. The actress, 35, revealed she has welcomed her first child with husband Josh Bowman.
The Revenge star shared the news on Instagram with a photo of the baby’s little hand in hers. ‘Welcome to the world our sweet little Iris. Our hearts are full,’ wrote the blonde beauty.
The star had never confirmed that she was with child even though there was speculation for months while she and Josh were out of sight due to lockdown from COVID-19.
But in her new post she shared a first look of her baby bump.

There was an image of her in profile as she showed off what looked to be a far aloing bump. And she was also with child when she kissed her husband.
The couple first met while working on the ABC primetime soap Revenge, which ran from 2011 until 2015. They began dating shortly after meeting and eventually wed in 2018.
The lovebirds shared a romantic Bahamas wedding in December 2018 before heading to Miami for their honeymoon.
VanCamp revealed her husband’s patience and positivity is a perfect balance with her more ‘broody’ personality.

‘I tend to be a little bit more on the broody side, a little bit more pensive and I don’t know, more of the realist. He’s more of an idealist. It’s very nice to have that as a balance. I was very lucky to have such a positive person around all the time,’ she told the outlet.
They tied the knot exactly five years after their on-screen characters Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson were married on the hit series.
Fans will remember the fictional nuptials ended on a violent note but, thankfully, Emily and Josh have a more blissful real-life union.
The pair haven’t worked together since Revenge finished its run, but she confesses they ‘would love to work together in the future.’

‘We worked really well together when we did back in the day… And I know Josh is entering into directing, it’s something I’m interested in as well, just kind of getting behind the camera.
‘He’s working on a few things right now that I could definitely see myself working alongside him, getting involved in with him, it’s exciting. I think he’s very talented behind the camera as well,’ she added.
She previously dished to Entertainment Tonight about Josh’s proposal, showing off her ring on request and saying her man ‘did good.’

‘I was coming off of doing two jobs at the same time — I was doing The Falcon and the Winter Soldier and The Resident, sort of burning the candle at both ends. So the beginning [of lockdown] was very welcome,’ she said.
‘I was like, “Okay, I actually get to just sleep for a bit,” which was amazing. Just being able to enjoy the quiet, enjoy my husband and my dog, enjoy being home, things that I hadn’t had for a really long time. I did not take that for granted at all. I loved every second of it,’ she gushed.
