Paris Saint-Germain ‘increasingly likely’ to sell Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid THIS SUMMER after striker rejects yet another contract offer from French club…as hopes fade of dream front three with Messi and Neymar

  • Kylian Mbappe has turned down PSG’s latest offer, according to RMC radio
  • The striker was offered a five-year deal with an optional sixth year and a pay rise
  • But he would still be the club’s third-highest earner behind Messi and Neymar
  • Real Madrid have not made an offer yet but are expected to make a late bid

Paris Saint-Germain may be left with little choice but to sell Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid after the striker turned down the club’s latest big-money contract offer, according to reports in France.

French radio station RMC has reported that PSG made a five-year contract offer to the France striker in a final bid to tempt him to stay but the 22-year-old said no.

The Parisians have been determined to not let the World Cup winning prodigy leave but the latest contract rejection is edging them closer to selling the player.

The RMC report said the new contract PSG offered to Mbappe included an optional sixth year and a significant pay rise but still would have left him as the club’s third highest earner behind Lionel Messi and Neymar.

Mbappe’s current deal with PSG expires next year, leaving him to depart for Real without a transfer fee.

The RMC report said Mbappe is looking increasingly likely to leave PSG this summer but ‘two huge obstacles remain’.

Firstly, Real must make a bid to PSG for the forward which they are so far yet to do, with the RMC report saying the only approach for the forward in the last few weeks has come from England.
