Where to Watch Stephen King Series ‘Chapelwaite’ Starring Adrien Brody

What better way to kick off fall TV than with a terrifying Stephen King adaptation? The iconic horror writer’s work is headed to the screen again, this time for the EPIX TV show Chapelwaite, which arrives on Sunday, August 22.

The upcoming series is based on King’s 1978 short story “Jerusalem’s Lot,” which should not be confused with the novel ‘Salems Lot (though they’re set in the same universe). ‘Salems Lot has previously been adapted twice as a miniseries; while “Jerusalem’s Lot” has never been adapted, until now.

Set in the 1850s, Chapelwaite stars Academy Award-winning actor Adrien Brody as Captain Charles Boone, who moves with his three children to the quiet town of Preacher’s Corner, Maine, after his wife’s unexpected death. However, he’s soon forced to confront the darkness that has plagued his family and their ancestral home for centuries.

Joining Brody is Emily Hampshire, best known for her role as Stevie Budd in Schitt’s Creek. Here, Hampshire takes on a very different role as aspiring writer Rebecca Morgan, who becomes the Boone family’s new governess.

While you wait for the latest King adaptation to debut, here’s everything to know about Chapelwaite and where you can stream the new horror series.
