Over a dozen people shot during bloody night in NYC

Over a dozen people were wounded in a series of shootings across the Big Apple in about a two-hour span on Sunday night, police and sources said.

The bloodshed began at about 11 p.m. when three men were struck by gunfire on Westgate Street near 140th Avenue in Queens, according to police and sources.

The men, all in their 20s, were hospitalized and listed in stable condition.

About 40 minutes later, two more men were shot on Nostrand Avenue near Park Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn, according to police sources.

A sixth man was shot at about 12:20 a.m. in Ozone Park, sources said.

Back in Bedford-Stuyvesant, at least 5 people, including two women, were shot at NYCHA’s Roosevelt Houses at about 12:30 a.m., according to sources.

One of the women who were shot was struck in the face and taken to Woodhull Hospital, sources said.

Another man was found with a gunshot wound at Broadway and Myrtle Avenue in Bushwick, sources said, and investigators were looking into whether he was hit in the shooting at the Roosevelt Houses.

Three more people were shot at about 12:40 a.m. at Schenck Avenue and Atlantic Avenue in Cypress Hills, sources said.

No arrests were immediately reported in the shootings.
