Chelsea are looking to sell players to fund a move for Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku and his agent Federico Pastorello flew to Nice on Monday evening before travelling to Monaco. They will hold meetings there on Tuesday morning before making the final leg of their trip to London and finalising the Belgian’s return to Stamford Bridge.

Abraham, who scored 12 goals last season, has already rejected a move to Serie A with Atalanta but is understood to be interested in working with Jose Mourinho at Roma.

Arsenal remain in the frame as they wait on Alexandre Lacazette sorting out his future.

Inter want a top striker to replace big earner Edin Dzeko who is heading for Inter as a replacement for Lukaku in a £4.5m deal. Inter are also considering a move for Everton’s Moise Kean.

Meanwhile, Valencia have asked about taking 22-year-old Trevor Chalobah on loan from Chelsea for the season.
