Tottenham 'plan to hijack Mino Raiola's Leicester talks' if deal not complete this week

Tottenham have so far made three signings this summer, with 23-year-old Romero having penned a five-year deal after Atalanta accepted a bid of around £47million with add-ons.

Winger Bryan Gil and goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini arrived at the club earlier this summer.

Several players have been shipped out by Paratici, with Toby Alderweireld and Erik Lamela among the highest-profile names to have left Spurs in recent weeks.

The former joined Qatari outfit Al-Duhail for a reported fee of £11.7m, while the latter was sent to Sevilla as part of the deal that saw Gil move the other way.

Juan Foyth, Danny Rose and Joe Hart have also departed the club ahead of the new Premier League season.
