‘Not a smear in sight!’ Mrs Hinch fans share tumble dryer water hack for cleaning glass

Cleaning star Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, garnered popularity after sharing her cleaning and tidying tips on her social media channels and on TV. The cleaning sensation has now amassed over 4.1 million followers on Instagram. Her followers and fans have created their own social media groups dedicated to sharing cleaning tips.

“I cleaned the inside windows today in minutes.

“Sprayed on and wiped off with an old towel that I ripped up for dusters.

“I wonder if the condensed tumble dryer water does the same?

“I got this information from my window cleaner who will only do the outside.”

A third user said: “I bottle my tumble dryer water for ironing, cleaning glass, and to use in essential oil diffusers.”

A fourth penned: “That is what window cleaners use.”

A fifth added: “Put the water out of the tumble dryer in a spray bottle and away you go.

“It’s so good, I’ve done it on the microwave, black appliances, windows, TV stand and mirrors.”

Another person suggested using it “to clean windows” while another said it’s also “good for ironing”.

Most users were surprised by the hack and vowed to try it next time they used their tumble dryer.
