“Like you said, working on stage, usually you get less nervous as the shows progress.
“It was the complete opposite this time around – I got more nervous as it progressed and it didn’t help.”
He continued: “And Karen – don’t kill me for saying this – I remember every time we actually prepped for a performance she’d start giving the sign of the cross – I said Karen, you’re not helping’.
