Tyson Fury slams Deontay Wilder as a 'p****' after making ANOTHER bold claim against the Gypsy King

‘Not a warrior or a man at all’: Tyson Fury slams Deontay Wilder as a ‘p****’ after American makes ANOTHER bold claim against the Gypsy King by accusing him of ‘LYING’ about having Covid to get trilogy fight postponed

  • Tyson Fury’s positive Covid-19 test delayed his trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder
  • The fight, initially scheduled for July 24, has now been pushed back to October
  • Wilder believes that his rival may have made up the result to get more time
  • But Fury has since hit back, labelling his American rival as a ‘real piece of work’

Tyson Fury has gone on the attack against Deontay Wilder after the American heavyweight claimed that his rival lied about contracting Covid in order to get their trilogy fight pushed back.

Fury was set to defend his title against Wilder on July 24, but the bout has now been postponed until October 9 instead after it was discovered that an outbreak had ran riot inside the group.

Speaking to Sportsmail exclusively, Fury was keen to insist that he is ‘the last person to blame’ for the situation, and was adamant that he had kept his inner circle small as he doesn’t favour a ‘large entourage’.

Fury was fully expected to recover in time for the next grudge match, but he argued that he would have handed Wilder an advantage by missing out on days of training.

And Wilder took to Instagram on Friday to make his feelings clear about the situation.

‘Yo bro, @malikkingscott (coach) say it ain’t so… Not the COVID-19 lie… They’re going to hell for that one!!! Oct 9th can not come any faster,’ he wrote alongside a video of himself hitting pads.

But Fury wasn’t having any of it, responding straight away on social media. The Gypsy King wrote: ‘This man is a real piece of work. A real bully excuse maker. Not a warrior or a man at all.

‘Beat the mug 2 times. I’ve battered him and his trainer. But still talking s***. Real p******.’

Wilder started the latest war of words just weeks ago by pre-empting that Fury would cheat during their heavyweight trilogy bout.

Wilder is looking to avenge his first-ever professional defeat after losing his WBC belt to Fury on February 22, 2020.

The Bronze Bomber was stopped in the seventh round of that encounter and has since thrown many accusations of cheating Fury’s way.

‘You think he ain’t gonna try to cheat this time?’ he told 78SPORTSTV. ‘Oh they’re thinking, they’re coming up with a master plan.

‘But my thing to him – man, you couldn’t even get me out on loaded gloves and the conditions I was under. You couldn’t knock me out, you didn’t knock me out.’

Having been spotted at Royal Exotic Cars Shop and a casino, Fury has been widely criticised for apparently failing to self-isolate. It is not known when he tested positive.

The third bout looked as though it would never take place after Fury’s victory over Wilder in their rematch, but a court ruled that the American had a contractual right to a shot at redemption.

That saw Fury’s undisputed Battle of Britain clash with Anthony Joshua scuppered, despite the duo putting pen to paper on the contracts.
