Bianca Walkden continued a richly success Tokyo Games for GB taekwondo as she booked her place in the semi-finals of the women’s 67kg.
Walkden, from Liverpool, took an early blow against Kazakh fighter Cansel Deniz but recovered impressively to run out to a 17-7 victory.
Attention remains fixed on gold for the three-time world champion and few will bet against her after a performance that will put fear into her rivals.
