Pimlico Plumbers boss Charlie Mullins speaks out on backlash to vaccine passport remarks

Nigel Farage had him on his show when he questioned him if Brexit was really a disaster following his huge turnover at Pimlico Plumbers.

He said: “I’m just saying that there is a perception it’s expensive.

“You’ve done well, you’ve made a lot of money.”

Charlie then replied: “The business is doing very well, we’re turning over £50million. It’s been a record year.”

Nigel then interjected: “Despite Brexit, I thought Brexit was a disaster? It doesn’t sound too bad to me.”

The Pimlico Plumbers boss replied: “I think it’s going to be a disaster for many businesses but already the sale of material has gone up, there’s a massive shortage and the skill shortage.

“We’re not out of the woods yet, are you? You know yourself there is more worry at the moment than to worry about than Brexit.”
