The 96-cap Wales international held talks with Burnley last week and the signing is expected to be confirmed on Monday.

Sheffield Wednesday have asked about taking Burnley’s Bailey Peacock-Farrell on loan.

Peacock-Farrell, 24, did play eight times in all competitions last season but Clarets manager Sean Dyche may feel he will get more game-time and senior experience at another club, on a temporary basis.
