Speaking about the restrictions, Khan explained: “I am quite clear in relation to public safety and also public reassurance.
“I think it’s important for us to continue for us to make it a requirement to wear a face mask on our services.
“What we’re going to do is because we haven’t got the national legislation behind us.
“We’re going to make a condition of carriage. So, if you want to use our services, one of the conditions is unless you’re exempt or you’ve got a very good reason, you’ve got to wear a face covering.”
