Innocent bystander struck by stray bullet in Harlem shooting

A 59-year-old man was struck by a stray bullet on an East Harlem street corner on Tuesday night, police sources said.

The victim was shot in the upper torso by a man who opened fire during an argument with a group of people on Fifth Avenue and East 118th Street at about 6:10 p.m., sources said.

The innocent bystander was taken to Harlem Hospital and is expected to recover.

Two shell casing were recovered at the scene, the sources said.

No arrests were made as of early Wednesday.
