Children screamed in terror as they were thrown out of three bouncy castles which were carried high into the air by a strong gust of wind.

Video footage shows the terrifying moment one of the giant inflatables flew ‘like a balloon’ 30ft off the ground during a festival in Belarus.

The bouncy castle, which was in the shape of a dragon, was lifted up into the air and began spinning in circles before crashing onto the floor in the northern town of Alexandria.

Seconds later, another bouncy castle was carried high into the air and at one point was vertical.

The three bouncy castles were torn off their moorings, with one crashing into a nearby tent as witnesses described hearing the children playing inside scream in terror.

Witness Alesya said: ‘A boy literally tumbled out of the castle. He was very scared, but it seems that he was not badly injured.

‘The castle flew over us like a balloon and was carried over a fence. The second crashed into a nearby tent.

‘There was some kind of glass, and it broke. The owner suffered a leg injury.’
