Bateman told the Herald Scotland: “He blew my mind when I saw him in it.
“I was determined to get him. He was a big get for us. That was the [inspiration] that I used for this show, Top of the Lake, [because of] the way in which it was shot and paced and written and performed.”
Cursed has proven to be just as popular with viewers as Mullan’s role on Ozark was, and fans are rightfully upset about the cancellation.
One fan on Twitter said: “Ugh I’m legit so upset about this. I kinda figured it was coming since we waited so longer to hear anything but I’m still so mad.”
Fans are clearly upset to lose the show but, thankfully, Mullan will be returning to screens soon with many exciting shows.
