3:45pm: Berrettini has responded to the Hurkasz surge by breaking to take a 2-0 lead in the fourth set.

3:35pm: A fantastic response from Hurkasz who wins the fourth set on a tie-break.

Berrettini appeared to tighten up as he approached the finishing line but a great effort from the Pole.

3:20pm: We are currently waiting for the conclusion of the first sem-final over on centre court.

Italy’s Matteo Berrettini leads Hubert Hurkasz two sets to love and is 6-5 ahead in the third set.

Both players are featuring in their first Grand Slam semi-final as they look to win the biggest match of their career.

As soon as the match finishes Djokovic and Shapovalov will not be far away.

Although Djokovic is the heavy favourite, the world No 1 is well aware of the dangers his opponent possesses.

Speaking ahead of the match he said: “It’s impressive the way he’s been playing.

“I’m sure that’s going to be the biggest test I will have so far, which is also expected. It’s semi-finals.”

Shapovalov believes he has the game to win against his illustrious opponent as he looks to cause a huge upset.

“When you walk out on that match, the score is 0-0. It’s a tennis match. Anything can happen,” he said after his 

“I’m going to fight for every point and believe in myself. I do believe that I have the game to beat him and the game to win that match.”

The world No 1 is looking to reach his Seventh Wimbledon final as he looks to win a record equalling 20th Grand Slam on Sunday.

Djokovic is unbeaten in Wimbledon semi-finals and finals since losing the 2013 final to Andy Murray.

His opponent is playing in his first ever Grand Slam semi-final and is looking to become the first Canadian man to win a major title.

he beat Andy Murray in the third round and will have to recover from his five-set quarter-final win over Karen Khachenov if he is to beat Djokovic.
