Britney Spears INSISTS her recent Instagram portrait is actually her despite missing neck tattoo

Britney Spears told haters to ‘kiss my a**’ on Thursday after getting wind of speculation regarding the validity of her most recent Instagram portrait, which was posted to the platform the day prior.

Fans noticed that in the snap, which showed Spears posing topless with her back to the camera, her ‘favorite’ neck tattoo was missing entirely – a tattoo she had proudly showed off on Instagram in mid-June.

This led many to wonder whether or not the topless woman in the snapshot was actually Spears, which the 39-year-old singer feverishly tried to debunk in Thursday’s post.

‘Ok so … I edited out my tattoo on my neck cause I wanted to see what it would look like clean,’ explained Britney in her post’s caption.

‘yeah I like it better so while you guys are talking behind my back go ahead and kiss my a** haters,’ continued the Lucky songstress, who included a meme reiterating her ‘kiss my a**’ message.

The ‘edited out’ tattoo is of a Hebrew Kabbalah, which Britney explained in a June 11 Instagram post is ‘a language written backwards !!!! It says Mem Hey Shin and means healing !!!!’

She added: ‘It’s my favorite tattoo but ironically you never see it !!!!’

Along with publicly declaring the ink as the ‘favorite’ of her nine tattoos, Britney shared a video of herself dancing with her back to the camera, frequently exposing the tat for all to see.

She famously got the piece etched on her neck while touring overseas in 2004 after receiving advice from Madonna, who suggested that it would be a healing force for her in her life moving forward.

Britney’s July 7 snapshot was noticeably devoid of the tattoo as she stood before her bathtub with her hair swept over one shoulder, exposing her neck.

Despite Spears being noticeably irked by the speculation, fans were undoubtedly coming from a good place, being that Spears’ social media posts have been under intense scrutiny amid her ongoing conservatorship woes.

The Toxic songstress had been under a conservatorship since 2008, with her father Jamie Spears acting as the Conservator of the Estate, meaning he controls her finances while Jodie Montgomery, a professional conservator who brought on in 2011, is in charge of Britney’s personal decisions.

Spears detailed the brutality of her situation, telling the Los Angeles court on June 23 that her father would mandate unnecessary psychological evaluations, therapy, and rehab on her own dime, and even forced her to work against her will.

Britney also shared that he took her credit card, passport, possessions and cash away, and forced her to live under 24-7 surveillance, adding that a staff of nurses and security ‘watched [her] change every day.’ ‘I had no privacy dog from my, from my room,’ she told the court.

‘The control he had over someone as powerful as me, as he loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000%. He loved it,’ Spears maintained, and later added that she’d like to ‘sue’ her ‘whole family’ for ‘doing nothing.’
