A first look at Tig Notaro's animated stand-up special

The first trailer for “Tig Notaro: Drawn,” a fully animated stand-up special, is here, and it’s adorable.

This is her first special since “Happy To Be Here” was released by Netflix in 2018, and her first collaboration with HBO since “Boyish Girl Interrupted,” which debuted in 2015.

In this new hour, Notaro talks about the Kool-Aid Man, a visit to the hospital, a high school talent show gone wrong and more. The special was animated by Six Point Harness and directed by Greg Franklin.

It was executive produced by Notaro and Ellen DeGeneres.

Notaro was last seen on screen in Zack Snyder’s zombie film “Army of the Dead,” a role that earned her accolades and taught her the meaning of “sexy A.F.”

“Tig Notato: Drawn” debuts on HBO on July 24 at 10 p.m. ET/PT and be available to stream on HBO Max.
