England’s superstars have been pictured taking a dive in the pool after defeating bitter rivals Germany with fans hoping the Three Lions can make a splash in the latter rounds of Euro 2020 this summer.

The heroes who helped book England’s place in the quarter finals after a 2-0 win over Germany at Wembley Stadium were seen enjoying themselves a day after their historic victory.

Among them were goalscorers Raheem Sterling and England’s captain Harry Kane – who both netted yesterday and cut relaxed figures this morning.

The team looked ready to make real waves both on the pitch and in the water as they took to the FA’s headquarters in St George’s Park, Burton Upon Trent.

Spirits were evidently high among the squad as international newcomers Kalvin Phillips, Jadon Sancho and Declan Rice were pictured with huge smiles on their faces.

And experienced faces such as Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Kieran Trippier looked like they enjoyed a game of volleyball as the team are set for a hotly anticipated quarter finals clash with Ukraine this weekend.

Several members of the Three Lions squad showed off a more playful side as they relaxed in the pool a day on from sinking bitter rivals Germany in the Euro 2020 round of 16.

Goals from Raheem Sterling and Harry Kane ensured England defeated Die Mannschaft in a competitive game for the first time since 1966.

And the heroic goalscoring duo were pictured alongside other members of the squad enjoying a game of volleyball in the water as they cooled down at St George’s Park, Burton upon Trent after the fiery encounter.

The whole team warmed down after the memorable victory, as England made it out of their pool and into the quarter finals, where they will face Ukraine later this week.

Newcomers at the international stage such as Kalvin Phillips, Jadon Sancho and Mason Mount were also snapped sporting smiles on their faces.

Chelsea stars Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell re-joined their England team-mates at training on Wednesday morning following their period in quarantine.

Fan favourite Jack Grealish has played swimmingly well at Euro 2020 so far, and impressed again as he was pictured on an inflatable pizza slice at St George’s Park.

And goalkeeper Jordan Pickford, fresh off of his fourth consecutive clean sheet at the tournament, was caught on camera lunging for the loose ball in the pool.

Earlier this morning, captain Harry Kane and his team-mates went on a stroll as the squad recovered from their tense 2-0 Euro 2020 last-16 win.

As the players who played a significant part in the memorable evening relaxed, the remainder of Gareth Southgate’s squad got down to work on the training field.

England skipper Harry Kane notched his first goal of Euro 2020 in the 86th-minute, heading home substitute Jack Grealish’s cross.

That sealed a memorable victory for the Three Lions in front of a raucous Wembley crowd.

England players executed manager Gareth Southgate’s tactics to perfection and went ahead in the 75th minute through Raheem Sterling – scoring his third goal of the tournament.

Germany’s Thomas Muller squandered a glorious chance to equalise before Kane got his Euros campaign off and running to send England fans into pandemonium.

After seeing off rivals Germany the Three Lions face Ukraine in the quarter-finals on Saturday in Rome following Andriy Shevchenko’s side’s dramatic extra-time win over Sweden.
