Jennifer Aniston is ‘no longer afraid’ of the bread basket

Jennifer Aniston is no longer cowed by carbs.

The 52-year-old “Friends” star says that she overcame a food-related fear in recent years: the tempting bread basket at a restaurant table.

“[I] started to give myself a break, allowing yourself to have pasta, a sandwich,” she told People in a new interview. “Everyone’s very afraid of the bread basket, and I’m no longer afraid. As long as it’s all done in moderation.”

The famously fit star — who for years shunned carbs — says her body is loving it.

“There’s something my body appreciates about [having carbs], like, ‘Oh, thank you! Why are you depriving me of things I love?’” she explained.

Discussing her diet, Aniston revealed that she adheres to intermittent fasting but “just because I’m not a breakfast person. I just like a cup of coffee and my collagen.”

The “Morning Show” star also said that her workout regimen changed after she fell to the floor and was unable to get back up following a grueling fitness session last October.

“Sure enough, I had a 9-mm bulging disc, which is really intense,” Aniston said. “So my whole workout had to change.”

The New York-raised celeb has turned to Pilates to strengthen her back and is now more gentle on her body.

“When I threw my back out, I was like, ‘Maybe it was that lunge twist squat move.’ We can’t just do one simple move. We try to add four moves to one,” she explained before noting that there’s one exercise she can’t wait to start doing again.”

“I haven’t been able to run, which is my love,” she said. “I’m going to slowly start incorporating that into my workouts again.”
