Suspects on scooter assault 63-year-old cyclist in Upper Manhattan

Two suspects on a scooter drove into a 63-year-old cyclist and kicked him off his bike in Upper Manhattan earlier this month, police said Wednesday.

The assault occurred as the man was riding his bike south on Cabrini Boulevard in Hudson Heights at about 3:45 p.m. on May 16, according to cops.

The suspects came from behind and hit the victim with their scooter.

They also kicked the man, causing him to fall off his bike and onto the street, according to cops.

The suspects fled and were still being sought early Thursday.

Police said the victim went to Cornell Hospital with cuts to his knees and hands.
