Logan Paul claims he visualises beating Floyd Mayweather ‘EVERY NIGHT’ ahead of Sunday’s exhibition fight in Miami… with the YouTube star revealing he ‘knows what to do’ to beat the boxing icon

  • YouTuber Logan Paul will take on boxing legend Floyd Mayweather on Sunday
  • Both fighters can knock each other out in the exhibition contest this weekend
  • Paul admits he has visualied putting down 50-0 Mayweather every single night
  • The 24-year-old is expecting taunts from the boxing icon in the Miami contest

Logan Paul claims he has visualised beating Floyd Mayweather in his head ‘every night’ ahead of their Miami exhibition clash on Sunday.

The YouTube star will take on the 50-0 boxing icon this weekend despite never picking up a single boxing victory in his short professional career.

Paul was defeated by fellow YouTuber KSI from the United Kingdom back in November 2019 but still feels he has the attributes to defeat Mayweather in the exhibition crossover event.

The 26-year-old told Sky Sports: ‘I’ve seen it all in here. All I do is visualise. I know what I have to do.

‘I know what it’s going to look like, standing across from Floyd and looking in his eyes. He’s going to be smiling, I’m sure, taunting me a little bit. I’ve seen it – all of it.’

When asked whether he has visualised defeating the undefeated former boxing champion, Paul said: ‘Every night.’

And after a follow-up question to put how he would be feeling into words, the YouTuber replied: ‘No, it’s indescribable. Pure elation.’

The terms of Paul’s exhibition fight with Mayweather was announced on Monday, with the two fighters allowed to knock each other out in the eight three-minute rounds, but no official winner will be declared after the contest.

The Florida State Athletic Commission’s rules also state that both fighters will wear 12oz gloves, while any headgear will not be permitted.

The exhibition-nature of the fight means Mayweather’s impeccable record in the ring will not be tarnished should he lose the contest, while Paul’s history of 0-1 will remain the same even if he wins.

Mayweather is rumoured to be earning in the region of £70million from the fight and has described it as a ‘legal bank robbery’ with many expecting the boxing legend to make light work of Paul.

However, Paul has revealed Sunday’s Miami showdown is far more than an exhibition – and insisted that Mayweather will not have ‘a s*** easy fight’.

Paul told the True Geordie Podacst: ‘It’s not an exhibition. What exhibition is eight three-minute rounds?

‘You know, this is a fight. If Floyd didn’t want to rip my head off before my brother took his hat, now he’s trying to kill me.

‘He’s trying to make an example of the big brother so the younger brother has to suffer, watch and witness. I don’t know if you’ve seen Scarface but that’s what he’s trying to do.

‘It’s going to be a war, I’m not going to make this s*** easy for him. We’ve been training our a**es off for eight months now to fight this guy.’
