PS Now June 2021: THREE new PS4 games and The Witcher 3 for PlayStation Now?

New PS4 games are being added to the PlayStation Now streaming service for June 2021.

The tech giant usually offers at least three new games each month for subscribers to try out for a limited time.

Some of these are only added on a temporary basis and can disappear within a few short months.

The next PlayStation Now games are expected to be released on Tuesday, June 1, all of which will be sourced from the PS4.

There are currently no PS5 games available through PS Now, and it’s unclear when this might change.

However, that doesn’t make predicting what is being released for PS Now next any easier.

With so many first and third-party games available on the last-gen gaming machine, there could be several surprises.

A recent rumour suggests that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could be added to the PlayStation Now in June.

A recent glitch noticed by subscribers included The Witcher 3 being added to the PS Now service on PS5 consoles.

The Witcher 3 was originally released in 2015 and proved a massive success on PS4, Xbox One and PC.

And having launched on several different platforms, it would make a perfect time for it to land on PS Now. The official game description reads:

“In Wild Hunt, you as Geralt embark on your most epic and dangerous journey yet. Your mission — to find the child of prophecy, an ashen-haired girl, a living and highly volatile weapon everyone wants to control.

“The stakes have never been higher: the Elder Blood flowing in the child’s veins can bring about a final end. The fate of worlds lies with you.

“The Wild Hunt — for ages, the appearance of this cavalcade of ghostly riders in the night sky has presaged war, plague and death. Few know the riders’ true nature or origin, yet fear grips all at their passing.

“It is believed they steal souls to add to their ghastly retinue. They come at night, in the cold of winter, and the Aurora Borealis always precede their appearance.”

For now, there is no way of knowing if this latest rumour is true, the good news being that we won’t have to wait long to find out.

Sony is expected to reveal its plans for PS Now today (May 31) or on Tuesday, June 1.

It’s unclear if Sony will change its plans due to the holiday, but there’s a good chance we will find out what is being planned in the coming hours.

Unlike PS Plus, PlayStation Now subscribers can get massive refreshes, which in the past have included up to seven games.

These can vary in quality, but with a few high-profile games disappearing at the end of April and May, this could be a bumper month for announcements.

The end of May will see the following games removed: Wreckfest: Drive Hard. Die Last and Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown.

These will be disappearing later today (May 31) and will be replaced later this week by at least three new games.
