I don’t want it either, but Microsoft paid for zenimax for Xbox so they can compete against the top platform. This is the top platform swinging back. Last Gen was playstation beating the hell out of Xbox due to them not having a real plan on what they wanted. Now that they have a plan to go with gamepass aggressively, playstation has to be aggressive back.
This is still a rumor of course, but 25 IP in development at playstation is also them being highly aggressive and that’s real. 2 of those games are being made in house in Xbox for playstation exclusively as well.
