Mets-Braves game postponed, Steve Cohen says

The Mets are piling up postponements almost as quickly as injuries.

Sunday’s series finale between the Mets and Braves at Citi Field was postponed by the rain, owner Steve Cohen confirmed on Twitter, the second rainout of the weekend. The Mets won the only game played, 13-2 on Saturday night.

The postponement is the Mets’ third of the week — after having Wednesday’s game against the Rockies also washed out — and 11th of the season, which includes games wiped out by snow and COVID-19.
