Courtney gave their 309K Instagram followers a closer look at the ring in a subsequent Insta Stories video.

The large stone appeared to be set amid a slim diamond-encrusted silvery band.

The former reality star added the hashtags ‘#engaged’ and ‘#diamondsareagirlsbestfriend,’ despite previously announcing that they are non-binary and go by they/them pronouns.

They also wrote, ‘#stopasianhate,’ which may have been a reference to their fiancé Chris Sheng.

They appeared to be in a lacy gray top in the clip and wore chunky black sunglasses while tying their blond locks up in a messy bun.

Though Courtney didn’t mention who the lucky person was, they have been dating Chris on and off since 2017.

The occasional singer opened up to Us Weekly about their partner in an interview from March of 2020

‘I’ve been dating the same guy for three years, Chris [Sheng],’ they said.

‘It isn’t easy to believe in love. It’s hard for me to completely open up to him and trust,’ they added. ‘I’m constantly pulling back and criticizing everything about everything.’

The loved-up couple were previously seen together earlier in May during an outing in Los Angeles.

Earlier this month, Courtney shared bullying tweets sent by model Chrissy Teigen, 35, and claimed that she would also ‘privately DM me and tell me to kill myself.’

Although the tweets dated back to 2011, Chrissy issued an apology on Twitter on May 12 and has since been silent across all of her social media platforms.

‘I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel,’ she tweeted.

‘These were not my only mistakes and surely won’t be my last as hard as I try but god I will try!!’

The wife of John Legend continued: ‘I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am.’

Courtney rose to prominence in 2011 (around when Chrissy’s text messages were sent) when they married The Green Mile actor Doug Hutchison, who was 51 at the time.

The two met virtually when Courtney signed up for Doug’s online acting class, and they struck up a multi-month relationship, reportedly before the veteran actor realized that his pupil was underage.

He offered to end the relationship after consulting with their parents, but they allowed the two to continue.

The couple appeared on reality shows including Couples Therapy and Celebrity Big Brother before separating in 2013, only to reunite the following year.

Courtney and Doug separated for good in 2017, but it wasn’t until last year that their divorce was finalized.

In their Us Weekly interview from last year, Courtney revealed that they were estranged from their parents and blamed them for allowing their marriage to a middle-aged man to go on.

‘I just feel violated in a lot of ways they could have protected me from,’ they said.

The reality star also claimed that Hutchison had been abusive during their marriage.

‘I was scared to live without a man who convinced me that I couldn’t live without him nor would I ever find love again,’ they said.

‘Doug threatened to kill himself multiple times in a manipulation tactic to get me to stay. He now isn’t legally allowed to own a firearm due to police detaining him.’
