A move back to Holland to reignite his career now seems likely, with Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf claiming that Ajax are willing to prise Bergwijn away from his Tottenham misery.
It is believed that they are willing to pay around £12million. However, Tottenham want closer to £21.5m.
