Mandy Moore is back to blond hair

Mandy Moore was missing her blond hair like candy.

The “This is Us” actress, 37, went back to her lighter roots on Thursday night, showing off her new look on Instagram.

“You can do anything,” singer Maren Morris commented, while Rachel Bilson left a fire emoji.

Others couldn’t help but remark that Moore was blond during her teenage pop-star years.

“I’m getting Candy vibes,” one fan said. “Alexa, play ‘Stupid Cupid’ by Lana,” another wrote, referencing Moore’s role in “The Princess Diaries.

But while the star received plenty of praise for her new hair, many were skeptical that the look was actually achieved using Garnier box dye, as Moore claimed.

“There’s NO WAY that’s from a box dye. Especially going from dark to light. #falseadvertisement,” one person commented. “It’s beautiful but I hope you tell your millions of followers that you can not go from colored brown hair to blonde with one step boxed color,” another wrote.

Moore, who is a Garnier spokesperson, told People that she used two boxes of Garnier Nutrisse Nourishing Color Creme in Almond Creme ($7.62) to achieve the look, followed by the brand’s new Fructis Plumping Treat Shampoo ($5.79) and Conditioner ($5.79).

“With this new chapter of my life, it just felt like the right time for a hair change,” she said. “The color feels indicative of how exciting and hopeful people are.”
