Chrissy Teigen attempts to keep a low profile at Disneyland amid explosive cyber-bullying scandal

Chrissy Teigen took a low-key trip to Disneyland in her first public appearance over a shocking cyberbullying scandal that saw her likened to Jeffrey Epstein.

Teigen, who has stayed under the radar since she apologized for telling a then 16-year-old Courtney Stodden to kill themself on Twitter and in private messages, was seen with her family at the so-called happiest place on Earth on Saturday.

Teigen was spotted in Anaheim with musician husband John Legend after her cookware range was dropped by Target, with the retail giant insisting it was unrelated to the bullying scandal.

But the news is sure to delight conserative commentator, who last week branded Teigen, 35, a ‘predator,’ and even likened her to notorious sex abusers Jeffrey Epstein and Harvey Weinstein.

‘People wonder how people like Harvey Weinstein & Epstein were able to victimize people for years despite the fact that “everybody knew”. It’s the same reason Chrissy Teigen has been platformed despite publicly victimizing women for over a decade. Hollywood protects predators.’ Owens tweeted.

Owens then followed up with a tweet that read #SurvivingChrissyTeigen, a reference to the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries that exposed abuse allegations against the singer

The intense backlash came after social media messages spanning nearly a decade showed that Teigen told reality star Stodden, who recently announced they are non-binary, to kill themself. Teigen also branded child star Quvenzhané Wallis ‘cocky’ when he was just nine years-old, and insinuated that Lindsay Lohan slits her wrists.

Chrissy was seen sheepishly clasping her hands at her waist while hiding her face under a baseball cap as she strolled alongside husband John Legend, and their kids Luna and Miles during their Disneyland outing.

The family was joined by throngs of security as they walked around the famed amusement park, and Chrissy looked downcast while trying to go incognito.

Despite her attempts the park was booming with tourists who all seemed to cast their attention toward the charismatic model.

And given Chrissy’s tough few days — which included Target pulling her line of cookware from their stores —Legend seemed to pick up the slack as he strapped Miles over his shoulders.

Stodden — who now uses they/them pronouns, made headlines after she married The Green Mile star Doug Hutchison, 60, when they were just 16. They recently came forward to shed light on the cruelty she had endured at the hands of Teigen.

One tweet aimed at the voluptuous blonde read ‘I hate you,’ and in another Chrissy told her to take a ‘dirt nap’ — slang for death.

And in a Daily Beast interview Stodden revealed they also got hateful private messages. ‘[Teigen] wouldn’t just publicly tweet about wanting me to take “a dirt nap” but would privately DM me and tell me to kill myself…Things like, “I can’t wait for you to die,”‘ she said.

And in statements made about Teen Mom star Farrah Abraham Teigen called her a ‘w***e’ and said ‘everyone hates you.’

Teigen also insinuated that Lohan slit her wrists in 2011. ‘lindsay adds a few more slits to her wrists when she sees emma stone.’

And she angered many when a tweet aimed at Beasts Of The Southern Wilds’ Quvenzhané Wallis called her ‘cocky’. ‘Is it okay to call a small child cocky?,’ she wrote.

On Thursday, Owens branded the 35-year-old model a ‘massive, disgusting hypocrite’ after Teigen apologized for sending Courtney Stodden abusive tweets and direct messages encouraging the former teen bride to commit suicide.

Addressing the recent Stodden controversy, Owens penned: ‘Chrissy Teigen has offered a public apology to Courtney Stodden for encouraging her to commit suicide as a teenager, but ONLY because I blew the story up.

‘The media has given Chrissy a pass for YEARS as she has monstrously attacked people, repeatedly for simply existing.’

Now others are adding their thoughts on Teigen’s unearthed tweets and labeling her a ‘bully.’

Donald Trump Jr also rounded on Teigen, writing: ‘Chrissy Teigen is nothing more than a vicious bully and a mean girl. Anyone else online telling kids and others to commit suicide would be canceled for life, but I’m sure she will turn herself into the victim here because that’s the kind of POS she is and always has been. Trash!’

Another person tweeted ‘For me, “cancel culture” is when someone is unfairly targeted and ostracized for a minor indiscretion, normally for expressing a conservative or libertarian viewpoint. In Chrissy Teigen’s case, she actively encouraged women to kill themselves. Big difference. #CancelCulture’

‘Hey left, I’ll make you a trade offer. @ginacarano for #chrissyteigen. Let’s un-cancel both. Call it a wash.’ someone tweeted. That was a reference to The Mandalorian actress Gina Carano, who was axed from the hit Disney+ show claiming being a Republican in 2021 was akin to the experience of a Jewish person during the Holocaust.

Another person pointed out Teigen’s hypocrisy.

‘Chrissy Teigen told a 16 year old child to go kill herself. But she wants to claim that President Trump was the one with the “mean tweets.” Talk about bald-faced hypocrisy.’ they tweeted.

The series of tweets seemed to berate Courtney without prompt before Chrissy broke her silence on the matter and issued an apology.

‘Not a lot of people are lucky enough to be held accountable for all their past bulls**t in front of the entire world. I’m mortified and sad at who I used to be. I was an insecure, attention seeking troll. I am ashamed and completely embarrassed at my behavior but that is nothing compared to how I made Courtney feel,’ she began.

‘I have tried to connect with Courtney privately but since I publicly fueled all this, I want to also publicly apologize. I’m so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am,’ she wrote.

And Stodden came to accepted the apology but maintained that she had ‘never heard’ a private apology, while revealing Chrissy had blocked her.

‘I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private.’

She went on to say that the apology seemed like damage control.  ‘All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her “wokeness” is a broken record.’

Others have called for additional brands that work with Teigen or carry her products — including Macy’s and VRBO — to cut ties.
