Bruce Willis and John Travolta reuniting onscreen as bitter rivals in upcoming action film Paradise City… 27-years after classic roles in Pulp Fiction
John Travolta and Bruce Willis were nothing short of movie gold when they starred in Quentin Tarantino’s now classic black comedy film, Pulp Fiction (1994).
Fast forward 27-years, and the two legendary leading men are set to reunite on screen in the upcoming action film, Paradise City.
Production on the movie, which is billed as being ‘similar to Miami Vice but with bounty hunters instead of cops’, is set to kick off in Maui, Hawaii, on Monday, according to Deadline.

Willis, 66, portrays a renegade bounty hunter named Ryan Swan, who takes vengeance on the Hawaiian crime world.
Swan’s attention would be directed, in particular, to one of the crime kingpins, played by Travolta, 67, when the gangster has his father murdered.
Thai actress Praya Lundberg, 32, will act opposite Willis and Travolta in the female lead of the film, which will be directed by Chuck Russell.

The Illinois native has previously directed such hits as The Mask (1994), Eraser (1996) and The Scorpion King (2002) during his five-decade career in Hollywood.
The last time Willis and Travolta starred alongside each other was when they lit up the screen in Pulp Fiction as boxer Butch Coolidge and mob enforcer Vincent Vega, respectively.
Many people would agree: Travolta played the drug-addicted hitman to perfection; it would revitalize his acting career and lead to his second Academy Award nomination.
Championship performance: Willis’s role as Butch the boxer saw him fight all his battles outside the ring, with the likes of gangster Marsellus Wallace, whom he teams with to battle Zed, Gimp and Maynard
And who could forget Willis as Butch, in his battle with gangster Marsellus Wallace (played by Ving Rhames), and the pair’s ultimate showdown with creepy Zed, Maynard and the leather-clad Gimp.
Willis and Travolta have also been involved in 1989’s Look Who’s Talking and 1990’s Look Who’s Talking Too, but Willis only voiced the character of baby Mikey to Travolta’s James.
To put their respective careers in perspective in turns of monetary value: Willis has racked up over $9.4 billion at the box office worldwide in his feature acting credits, while Travolta’s features accumulated over $3.8 billion globally.
