Former Manchester United defender Alexander Buttner has been mocked online after showing off a bizarre new mural at his home.

The left-back has had an image of himself and ex-United manager Sir Alex Ferguson posing with the Premier League trophy painted over a large wall inside his house.

And while fans have not joked around why he has had it done, they have taken a dig at the quality of the mural itself.

On Twitter user replied: ‘Did he draw it himself? With his feet?!,’ as another responded ‘Love the sentiment, but has he painted it himself?’

Another United fan mocked the mural, tweeting: ‘Who’s the guy next to him because thats sure as hell not SAF (Sir Alex Ferguson)’

Someone else joked: ‘Oh yeah when he won the premier league with Bradley Walsh’
