Angels vs. Mariners prediction: Why Halos have the edge

A few percentage points are all that separate the underachieving Angels and overachieving Mariners in the AL West. We have been waiting for the Halos to get healthy and take charge of the division and believe they eventually will. For now the wins have been hard to come by.

Right, Dylan Bundy? Bundy (0-2, ERA 4.20) has made five starts this year and can’t put one in the left column. Dylan was toasted in Texas two starts back, but limited the Astros to two runs over six innings last out. The next day, those same Asterisks lit up Seattle’s Justus Sheffield (1-2, ERA 5.32) for four runs on 12 hits on what appeared to be “buzzer-beater” night in Houston. Ahh, the glory days. History shows Sheffield has given up ten runs in 7 ²/₃ innings against the Angels. Play 20 units on the Halos.

In a game that took almost as long as it did for Soup and Sandwich to finish the Kentucky Derby, the Brewers outlasted the Dodgers 6-5 in 11 innings Saturday night. Fun day all around takes us to -937 citations.
