Real Housewives of New York City star Heather Thomson says she gets ‘assaulted this season’ … amid feud with castmate Leah McSweeney

Real Housewives of New York City star Heather Thomson said that she got ‘assaulted this season’ on the Bravo show, amid reported bad blood with the show’s Leah McSweeney.

The 51-year-old reality star explained how she perceived the dynamics of the 13th season of the series on the Friends of Dorothy podcast Monday.

‘The show has changed a lot, breaking the fourth wall,’ said Thomson, who had previously been on the show’s with, sixth and seventh seasons.

Thomson implicated McSweeney, 38, as an antagonist she’s had in her comeback to the Gotham-based series.

‘People were interested in putting me down, dragging me down and showing me who is the queen bee,’ Thomson said. ‘I just don’t have time for that stuff. It’s the new girl who was intimidated and wanted to show who’s the queen bee.’

Last month, Us Weekly reported that Thomson ceased with production on the series amid bad blood with McSweeney, who started on the show last season.

‘Heather’s popular history with the old cast and the excitement about new cast member Eboni Williams prompted production to maneuver her return,’ an insider told the outlet. ‘Shortly after she arrived, Leah and Heather butt heads.’

Thomson had no time for McSweeney’s antics and decided she would not move forward on the series, the source told the outlet.

‘Heather could see Leah was acting up for the cameras and using behavior she considered demeaning and exploitative and frankly, crossed a line,’ the source said. ‘Heather wanted no part of Leah so after she left that weekend Heather had no interest in continuing the season at all and stopped filming.’

McSweeney, a fashion designer, took to Instagram Stories last month hinting at tension with a castmate.

‘I don’t like women who slut shame other women,’ she wrote. ‘Act morally superior to other women. Plastic surgery shame other women. Gossip about other women doing drugs when you know damn well they’ve done drugs also.

‘And lastly I don’t like when white women call Black women “articulate.” Especially while acting like the queen of wokeness.’

Thomson on the podcast said that her In My Heart podcast had created tension with her one-time RHONY costars Luann de Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and Ramona Singer, as parts were ‘totally taken out of context.’

‘They kept accusing me of talking s*** behind their backs,’ she said. ‘They said that I was saying Luann was doing a lot of drugs which I didn’t say.’
