Hilaria Baldwin can’t get the tremendous loss she faced after experiencing back-to-back miscarriages in 2019 off of her mind
The 37-year-old mom-of-six got candid about missing her ‘angels’ in a lengthy new Instagram post in honor of Infertility Awareness Week.
‘I think of the babies I lost daily,’ she captioned a photo of her crying with her daughter Carmen Gabriela, seven, that she first posted in November 2019 while announcing her pregnancy loss.

‘I had two miscarriages in a row in 2019–the second at 4 months. I was told ‘it’s just bad luck’… there is so much mystery why certain souls come into our lives and others do not,’ she wrote in the emotional message.
‘Today this baby I cried for in this picture would have been about a year. April 23 was her 39 weeks. I had to go home and sleep with her inside of me for one more night before having surgery the next. This was the last photo of my girls at the time,’ she continued.
The Mom Brain podcast co-host first suffered a miscarriage at around 10 weeks in April 2019, and then suffered another loss around the four-month mark in November of that same year.
She also included a snap of her then-protruding baby bump, explaining how different she felt at the time: ‘My face so swollen—I remember being surprised that the body could make so many tears—kept on thinking I’d run out of them. The next photo was a snap I took a day or so before I found out I had lost her. I looked tired, but happy…celebrating the pregnancy.’

Following these devastating occurrences, Hilaria and husband Alec Baldwin, 63, welcomed two rainbow babies with the arrival of their seven-month-old son Eduardo in September.
The couple also brought in newborn daughter María Lucía via surrogate earlier in March of this year.
‘Resigned and respectful of how my life has unfolded. Allowing for gratitude and grief, wholeness and longing to be the dualities of my reality,’ she said while calling her new children constant companions.
‘We all have different fertility/infertility stories and there are so many ways we can become parents,’ Baldwin added. ‘Being a parent truly is caring in the deepest way for another soul…through that giving energy we nurture ourselves and fill the world with love.

The Baldwins are also parents to Romeo Alejandro David, two, Leonardo Ángel Charles, four, and Rafael Thomas, five.
Earlier this week, the fitness instructor talked about grieving the loss of her two unborn children after posting a few adorable videos of her ‘rainbow babies.’
‘There is not a day that goes by where I do not miss their older sister, who we lost at 16 weeks. There is also not a day that goes by where I don’t thank my lucky stars that I have Eduardo Pau and Maria Lucia,’ she wrote on her Instagram Story.

She continued: ‘The fact that both of those feelings can exist inside of me, simultaneously and so intensely in their polarity, blows my mind. Life has so many more layers and nuances than I could have ever dreamed.

In the caption, she vented about the sleepless nights caused by crying babies with her more than 910,000 Instagram followers to ‘pray that they sleep.’
Hilaria and Alec were married on June 30, 2012 in New York City. The legendary actor also has a daughter, Ireland Baldwin, 25, that he shares with ex-wife Kim Basinger.
