Wetherspoons to open 44 more beer gardens in England next week – full list

Pubs in Scotland and Wales will be reopening next Monday, April 26, as part of the easing of lockdown restrictions in those countries. At the same time, 44 more Wetherspoons pubs will also be reopening in England.

Scotland’s hospitality industry, shops, and gyms are set to re-open in at the same time as pubs next Monday.

Pubs in Northern Ireland are not opening until April 30, and Wetherspoons will reopen three of its branches in the nation.

Customers will be able to order food as well as drinks at the Wetherspoons branches next week, but from a reduced menu.

The chain’s classics, such as its Full English breakfast, fish and chips, and beef burger, will be available, but not its mixed grills and steaks.

Some pubs and restaurants are currently offering bookings, but Wetherspoons are not.

Customers will instead have to turn up to a branch to check if there are any free tables.

John Hutson, Chief Executive at Wetherspoons, said: “We are looking forward to opening the extra pubs in England as well as those in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

“We look forward to welcoming our customers and staff back to our pubs.”
