Now THAT’S a butt dial! Medic administers BUTT INJECTION on man while appearing before virtual court on grand theft charge

  • A grand theft hearing held over Zoom in Miami, Florida, on Wednesday took a very strange turn
  • Defendant Niurka Aguero was filmed sticking a syringe into a man’s butt while waiting for her hearing to begin
  • Prosecutors say Aguero inadvertently broadcast the procedure to stunned court attendees, although the judge trying her case is not thought to have seen it
  • A Miami State Attorney’s Office spokesman said: ‘Everyone in the Zoom call was surprised’

A medic inadvertently broadcast herself giving a butt injection to a man while appearing before a virtual court on grand theft charges.

Niurka Aguero shared a live stream of herself injecting the substance into the man’s backside during a Miami-based hearing held over Zoom on Wednesday.

Miami State Attorney’s Office spokesman Ed Griffith told DailyMail.com that the injection took place while Aguero was waiting for her case to be called.

He said: ‘It seems that during the waiting period prior to the case being brought before the judge, Niurka Aguero was involved in some kind of procedure involving a male receiving an injection in the buttocks, which she appears to have inadvertently broadcast (via Zoom).

‘Needless to say, it appears that everyone involved in the Zoom court call was surprised.’

A LinkedIn profile lists Aguero’s job as a technician at a Palm Beach-based plasma clinic.

Miami Herald reporter David Ovalle was among those who witnessed the bizarre moment.

‘Someone appears to be getting a butt injection while appearing in a virtual court hearing,’ he tweeted.

Further details of the case against Niurka Aguero have not been shared. She was appearing for a status hearing – a procedural appearance where prosecutors and defense attorneys update a judge on the status of a case.

The cheeky faux pas was reminiscent of an incident in February in which a lawyer accidentally left a kitten filter on during a Zoom hearing.

The amusing mishap happened to Presidio County attorney Rod Ponton during a live streamed hearing on February 9 for the 394th Judicial District Court of Brewster.

The video begins with presiding judge Roy Ferguson telling Ponton: ‘I believe you have a filter turned on in video settings and you might want to turn it off.’

Ponton is then heard letting out a panicked ‘aghh’, as the cat filter over his face begins shifting its eyes back-and-forth and moving its mouth in unison with his voice.

‘Can you hear me judge,’ the feline-emblazoned Ponto is heard asking, his voice quivering.

Ferguson confirms that he can hear Ponton and reiterates that he believes he has a filter switched on.

‘It is [a filter]’, Ponton hastily interjects. ‘And I don’t know how to remove it. I’ve got my assistant here, she’s trying to, but ahhh I’m prepared to go forward with it… I’m here live, I’m not a cat.’

At this point, the two other people present at the hearing, H. Gibbs Bauer and Jerry L. Phillips, begin to laugh.

Judge Ferguson, however, manages to keep a straight face, offering a deadpan response of, ‘I can see that.’

The judge then begins calmly offering Ponton a step-by-step guide for how to remove the kitten filter, before the video abruptly cuts out.

Ponton has since revealed that he was using his secretary’s computer at a remote office in Presidio, telling the San Antonio Express that this is the first time something like this has happened in the eight months he’s been using Zoom amid the pandemic.

‘It was certainly not an intentional thing to put the cat image up there but s*** happens,’ he laughed. ‘If I can make everybody laugh for a moment at my expense, I’ll take it.’
